Unlike any other form of literature or entertainment, Fairy Tales help children to discover their identity and suggest experiences needed to develop their character. In Bruno Bettelheim’s â€Å"Life Divined from the Inside† Bettelheim states that â€Å"Fairy Tales intimate that a rewarding, good life is within one’s reach despite adversity-but only if one does not shy away from the hazardous struggles without which one can never achieve true identity (Bettelheim 106). Even though the Birds came and picked up the food, Cinderella’s stepmother still said no. Her stepmother’s reasoning for not letting her go was that she had no clothes and that could not dance. It’s hard not to see how hard Cinderella is trying to lead a good life, although she faces so much adversity. He gets the shoe and tries to find her. He goes to Cinderella’s house to try to find her, and her step sisters try on the shoe with no avail. Teenage pregnancy is a controversial concept nowadays. When a teen girl becomes pregnant and goes to the doctor, the doctor must tell her parents, even if she does not want to. This causes big issues because the girls feel like they have no privacy in their situation. I agree with the doctors informing the young girls’ guardians because the girl is under their care, she is a minor, and they must know what is going on. Some people though, have different opinions. Many people believe that telling the parents their teen is pregnant is the correct decision. This is because most teenagers don’t fully understand how much responsibility and time goes into providing care for a baby. She is too young to make her own decisions and needs contraceptive advice from her parents, whom have experienced this in their lives.
